Your favorite nap spot

Random question for everyone here. Title is more or less self explanatory: Anyone got a favorite spot in your building that you've used to nap?

I don't ever have an opportunity here (working lunches). However at a previous internship the hours were better and people were generally outside the building for lunch.

This particular office was in a rectangular building and set up with the main corridors in a pattern that looked like two "8"s stacked on top: offices/cubicles around the outside with connecting hallways on the intererior short-sides. One of these hallways was more or less empty with two empty cubicles on one side while the other had a waist-high cutout filled end to end with filing cabinets. These cabinets happened to have some empty space behind/to the sides, and one time after a particularly late night I decided to just grab a snack at my desk and spend the lunch hour crashed out, hidden behind the cabinets.

It was glorious.

We have dedicated 'Zen Rooms' with recliners and soothing music. It's nice to grab a power nap when you're working until 11.

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.

I haven't done it (yet), but we have a few Wellness Rooms. They're about 10x6 with a sink, recliner and a few misc items in there. They're essentially for nursing moms, but I've thought about taking a nap in there before. I'll do it sometime when I really need it.

I've heard about those little rooms you can rent at the airport to crash, but I haven't seen one yet.

on long-haul flights. nothing beats the knowledge of flying over the north pole / the rainforest 8 miles in the sky. all with a pair of Bose noise-cancelling headphones (no music, just silence). #serenity.

Some places have quiet rooms, which from my understanding is used for meditation/worship/rest. Additionally, I remember one time a colleague of mine booked a conference room for an hour to sleep. Certainly a creative way to do so for sure :)

There's a closer meaning to my user name. Try reading it quickly. Perhaps you will then understand ;P
