A truck and trailer washing company that primarily caters to the grocery and logistics industries. It's looking for a Chief of Staff. 

Job description:

The Chief of Staff will report directly to the CEO and be the right-hand man or woman to the CEO. The primary responsibility will be managing special projects on behalf of the CEO to improve company efficiency and streamline workflows through the introduction of technology in an "old-school" business. The Chief of Staff will have an out-sized amount of responsibility for their experience level. The position would be ideal for a candidate with an investment or advisory background looking for direct experience and mentorship in operations prior to applying to a top-tier business school.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Perform analysis on sales and operational data to help CEO make data-driven decisions.
  • Assist CEO with execution of key strategic initiatives, specifically new technology implementation.
  • Implement and track accountability metrics and KPIs for the different business functions to ensure desired results are being achieved.
  • Partner with CEO to prepare for meetings, develop board materials, and ensure effective follow-up on key action items.
  • Act as a fill-in for CEO in certain day-to-day operational activities & errands.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting or field service operations.
  • Maturity and confidence to manage complex projects with limited oversight.
  • Introduce technology solutions to various employee groups and walk them through adoption.
  • Willing to roll up your sleeves and problem-solve in a dynamic environment.
  • Highest level of integrity, low ego and ability to work with people from all walks of life.

Strongly Preferred:

  • Experience identifying and evaluating software solutions for businesses.
  • Interest in private equity, entrepreneurship through acquisition, small business, and mentorship for business school
  • Fluency in Spanish
