Company with North American headquarters in New York, is seeking an Investment Analyst to support the Investment and Business Development teams. The primary role is to contribute to the investment performance of the company's infrastructure funds by analyzing investment proposals, researching and preparing investment strategies, assisting in theprocess, preparing investment performance reporting and assisting in the fundraising process.
Assisting with the preparation and evaluation of investment proposals/reviews, completing transactions and monitoring and reporting.
Assisting with the management of existing portfolio companies
Preparing information for quarterly and annual reports, investor presentations and other external publications as required.
Conducting sector research to support Investment Directors.
Assisting the Global Business Development Team in delivering marketing and due diligence materials, and assist with investor meetings.
Prepare responses to investor and consultant questionnaires and ad hoc questions, including interpreting outputs from portfolio company and portfolio returns models
Maintaining the Fund's online .
Researching and monitoring prospective and existing institutional investors.
Assisting with fund closings including documentation, distribution, tracking, anti-money laundering checks and internal reporting
Bachelor or Masters degree
One to two years of investment analyst experience at a funds management firm or or similar, in infrastructure or related sector such as power, utilities, energy, transportation, real estate or telecom.
Knowledge of , real estate and/or infrastructure sectors preferred
Experience in client facing roles and customer relationship management preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with investors and staff at all levels
Commercially astute and a strong understanding of business issues
Enthusiastic team player with strong work ethic
