Our International branch network is part of the broader Client Solutions organization and is a focus for the organization going forward.  The International business is responsible for establishing the Charles Schwab brand and expertise in key locations around the world by providing access to our capabilities around US$ investing and helping individuals and families meet their financial goals.  Today we have key branch locations outside the US in Hong Kong, London, Singapore and Sydney, and Miami for the Latin American markets.   Within these locations you'll find Branch Managers leading and coaching their teams as they work directly with our clients to achieve their financial goals.  Financial Consultants will utilize various product and platform capabilities focused on stock and bond trading, options, margin, offshore mutual funds, and advised offerings.

What you’ll do:

Charles Schwab Branch Managers have responsibility for increasing the branch office’s revenues while expanding the client base. In this position, you will work closely with your team of Financial Consultants (FC) both in implementing firm wide sales strategies and in developing sales plans at the local level that are specific to the jurisdiction(s) of the branch’s region.

As the leader of an International Charles Schwab Branch, you will inspire your team of Sales & Service professionals as they provide investment guidance and support to clients primarily through face-to-face meetings.  Unlike no other job at Charles Schwab, the International Branch Manager is the most critical role at the local market level, providing the service, advice, and leadership that will help to further establish the Schwab brand globally.

A typical day would include sales coaching and sales process management, development of branch team with effective training and performance management, client presentations with your sales team, analysis of performance data for trends and actions, interviewing prospective employees, collaborating with business partners sharing of best practices and performing the compliance and administrative tasks inherent in our industry.  Additionally there is an opportunity to represent the Schwab brand within structured Public Relations activities including media events (both print and broadcast), hosting large client events, etc.
