Capital One Finance Program vs Deloitte Business Tech

I am currently reviewing my offers and have eliminated my options to Capital One's Finance Rotation program and Deloitte's Business Technology Analyst program. I am an economics major and have more of a finance background than technology. I was wondering what the general opinion about the two firms was and if working for a more prestigious firm such as Deloitte will actually have an effect on my career in the next 5-10 years. All advice is appreciated.

Then take Deloite, from my view it sounds like you have made up your decision and are merely looking for agreement on Deloitte from forum members to satifsy your need for approval. Take Deloitte and be happy. Plus, more money is always nice :)

Cap One's Finance Rotation Program is 2nd tier compared to the Business Analyst and Strategy Analyst positions at the company. Deloitte's BTA role is must more prestigious and impressive IMHO. You will probably be doing grunt work in both roles but Deloitte should give you wider exposure to industries while you will just do internal audit stuff at Cap One.
