MBB dinners with clients?

Just wonder have any MBB consultants be treated by their clients to five-star restaurants either during or after your killer case study/presentation? If so, how much per person does the client pay for your luxury meals? Or, in reality, do most of you just eat Chinese takeaway most evenings?

The constraint is usually time, not $. My teams have generally gone to a nice restaurant together once every other week, sometimes more. And as Starpoints says, expenses are generally budgeted at an additional % of the case budget and billed to the client.

If you're asking whether clients actually bring you out for a luxury dinner and pay for it, that doesn't happen very often (though it also depends on the client). Most of the time you'll be having these luxury dinners with just your colleagues, but billed to the client of course.

Chinese takeaway for dinner isn't common either, getting room service is much more likely.
