Nordstrom/DD Brand Ties
Was gifted some Nordstrom (1 normal and 1 John W brand) and David Donahue ties for Xmas. Used to wear Nordstrom and DD ties for high school and they seemed lower quality, although the ones I received seem much nicer. Normal patterns/colors/widths (i.e. would be appropriate in a banking setting). However, would I be better off trading them in for fewer nicer ties (such as Canali or Zegna)?
No one is going to notice/care where your ties come from as long as they aren't outrageous.
I am a fan of DD stuff ... you should only trade them in if you really care about the brand
are you trolling
Thanks guys, not a brand whore by any stretch of the imagination, just knew that Wall Street has relatively narrow views when it comes to fashion. Like the designs and them seem to tie nicely so I will be keeping them (also nice not having to worry about getting lunch on your $200 tie).
It is better to keep them with you as they may compliment your clothing in one way or the other.
I saw DD in the title and instantly thought Dunkin' Donuts. I'm disappointed.
