I´m going to by one of those. I´m really at a point where I like them both exactly the same amount... So I could really use your opinions and expertise. Which do you think suits better finance/ banking environment, which is better quality (durability wise.. I work a lot), which do you prefer and why?

Wouldn´t happen to know anyone who sports a Nautilus or a Royal Oak?

I have never been a huge Patek fan so I'd go with the AP

I would almost always recommend the Patek over the AP, with the exception of a few vintage AP's. Do you know the reference numbers of the watches that you are considering? When it comes to the modern Nautilus, you can't really go wrong with a stainless 5711 or 5726. Because of the unique shape of the case/dial, a lot of people find the dial of the 5712 to be a bit crowded. However, when you are spending that much on a watch, always go with what you like best. Some of my favorite watches cost me less than $5,000. I probably look at my wrist about 5 times an hour, and 4 of those times I am just admiring the watch that I chose to wear that day. Good luck!
Patek is the better choice for any gentleman. And if you're worried that someone might not know what a PP is, then I wouldn't worry too much about them. Are they really the kind of people you would want to associate yourself with? In the eternal words of ArchieLuxury, "if you don't know what a Patek Philippe is, you're a neanderthal".
I agree with @Jake_G"'s comments above. My vote is for the Nautilus 5711, but it depends what you're looking for. I think the Nautilus is dressier than a RO, but both are classic Genta designs and you can't go wrong either way.
The price gap can be pretty huge between some AP options and a Nautilus.
Are you looking to get an AP jumbo or AP royal oak chrono?
Just do not get an AP royal oak offshore for a formal environment.
AP, no contest.
Patek's have more of a legacy and greater status as heirlooms.
At the same time though, AP has magnitudes-higher appeal in my opinion via its unique, unintentionally neo-contemporary design.
