For a financial firm, British tan is too light. Cole Haan's quality has also gone down the drain a ton, Look at Meermin or Orbans; only problem is getting the right size for those, but if you know your size in Allen Edmonds than either reply to me with that or google around for advice on sizing for Meermin, there's a ton of stuff out there.

I respect the price sensitivity, Orbans and Meermin are only slightly more expensive and honestly the difference in quality is miles away better than Cole Haan's. Meermin's are considered to be the same or better quality than Allen Edmonds but at half the price. Additionally, both Orbans and Meermin captoe oxfords look a lot more formal and professional than these CH's. I would strongly urge you to make the investment in these, for spending just 30-40% more you can get shoes that will last years longer and look better while doing so.
