What're your thoughts on wearing a lapel pin to a superday/reception? It relates to a club on campus where I hold a leadership position, and looks cool. Something similar to this: https://cdn3.volusion.com/mwceg.gjtbh/v/vspfiles/…

Hey Luis123, I'm the WSO Monkey Bot and I'm here since nobody responded to your topic! Bummer...could just be unlucky but one of these topics will help shed some light:
More suggestions...
Fingers crossed that one of those helps you.
Bad bot.
I don’t know that anyone will actually comment on it but it’s not likely to be a detractor if it has some relevance to you personally. One with zero relevance is where you’d get yourself in trouble and look like a douche.
I wouldnt, same logic with a pocket square - keep it conservative at least until you got the job, I love wearing pocket squares but only started wearing mine once i safely had the job
Any thoughts on a veteran wearing a flag pin to a superday? Would it be too "notice me"?
While I think Vets should be recognized, I think others might see it as a "notice me" thing. However, anyone who views a vet in a negative light for wearing a flag pin needs to get their fucking head examined--sadly there are probably people like this. Most people will likely just see it as something you're wanted to do, and not really form any opinions. To be honest, if you're going to an interview, it is pretty likely that the interviewer already knows about your service to our nation. Hope this helped--it was just my opinion. Good luck at the superday.
Thank you for your input. That is what I figured, majority wouldn't care or even notice. I like how it looks and It's a possible conversation starter for anyone with a similar background. Obviously you can't please everyone, but Its for Bank of AMERICA so I can't imagine they are going to be opposed to a flag pin. I guess I was wondering if a flag pin universally means you're a veteran, or you're just patriotic? I've only seen vets and politicians wear them.
