Caruso : best value for money suit brand ?

Hi all,

I've been looking into affordable suit but with great quality (in other words "not fused") for quite some time and a friend of mine who is quite knowledgeable recommended italian brand Caruso as he said they were one of the best and I could get them quite cheap during sales or on websites such as yoox.

My question is : did you have experience with Caruso ? If yes, what is your feedback ? Would you recommend other brands in the same category (good quality but affordable) - maybe Corneliani ?
I know there are other threads for suits but I couldn't find a lot of info about Caruso, I've also looked on the internet but I found out they changed their name and branding so I don't know if quality stayed the same before / after

i'm looking in priority for italian brands as I'm European and living not far from Italy so I can easily fly to there during sales period to buy them with a big discount but any good alternative easy to find in Europe is welcomed
I've also heard about suitsupply & Boggi Milano and would be interested to hear what WSO users have to say about them

As always, thanks for your help guys :)
