CIMD, GSAM, Investment Rules Team

Hi. Is anyone familiar with the GSAM Investment Rules group? If so: Any idea how salary/bonus shakes out for this group at the analyst/associate/senior associate level? Any opinions on culture? I.e., is this a group that is valued and respected (by PMs, traders, etc.) or is it treated like compliance ( a "necessary evil") or, worse yet, operations? Are there interesting opportunities for growth within GS for alum from this group or is it a fairly niche, siloed experience with little in the way of development opportunities? Any info provided would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
