Is HSBC fucking garbage or what?

I think this is the worst financial institution. I don't understand how they're still in business. I've been having a flood of bad experience with them. Am I having a bad day or is this company garbage?

you are right, they are a garbage bank. in my own personal experience, I signed up for one of their $300 checking account promotions, followed all the rules to a T, and after 6 months they claimed I was wrong and did the promotion incorrectly. wouldn't give me the $300 until I threatened to sue.

also, HSBC helped terrorist groups and Mexican cartels launder money through their accounts (see link below). Netflix did a documentary on it a while back (I think it was within the Dirty Money series).

They are absolute scum.

I got a CC from these fucksticks. I get the card, make an account, and then their online banking goes offline. This is a week ago. They tell me it will take 2 days to fix. Anyway, I've been back and forth with customer service for a week and still can't log into my account. They call you and leave a message asking to call them back. After 30 minutes of menus, you get to talk to a person. They ask some questions they should already have answers to for a few minutes. Then, they inform you they aren't the correct person to help you. They transfer you. There's a great chance the call falls off and you have to start over. You finally reach someone and ask them why they left a message on my phone, what the fuck kind of news they got for me, etc. You know what kind of news they got? That they're still working on it. It's been a week! And I've made fraudulent curtain transactions from China in the meantime that need disputing!

You get off the phone, l having wasted 90 minutes of audio time on these whores, and you see you have a voicemail.

It's from a 1-800 number.

You listen to the message.

I've been on hold for 45 minutes after returning their call. This is getting kind of fun. I'm really determined now. I'm gonna be like an HSBC platinum member one day. I'm gonna work my way up the corporate ladder. Become HSBC's CEO. Burn it to the ground from within.

I will say that their personal banking support is top notch though. When I was living in Central America I made a couple of friends whose families use HSBC, and while I don't have much experience with private banking, what they were able to do when we ran into some trouble while traveling was honestly impressive, and quite responsive. Plus I ended up with free tickets to next year's Miami Open out of it.

Fuck, I want that level of wealth.

So my CC payment with these assholes is coming up and I've been completely unable to get any response out of them on the fraudulent charge dispute cases. So fun

I'm still in a heated battle with HSBC. I watched the Netflix version of American Greed episode on them. Fucking sheisters. I'm tweeting angry things at them every 2 days per my calendar reminder.

They finally mailed me some dispute forms after 2 months and like 6 attempts. The only way to send them back is via fax. Lawl. HSBC is traaaaaaaash

I can sort of attest. I got a cc with them a year ago for the zero rate. Their site is antiquated and not clear at all. They have an app, but it doesn’t work, like you can’t even get the log in screen to function. The fuckers blamed it on my iPad, as if my other hundred apps ever have a problem. Turns out I wouldn’t be able to use the app to actually pay my bill anyway lol.

JUST DO IT. Don't let your memes be dreams.
