Poor Property Management Companies in Class A Buildings

Posted this as specific to Quadrangle but opening up to the broader group. How can you develop a Class A space and then let it go to hell with poor property management. At the end of the day, I suppose if you have occupancy in the 90s and you're making money, who cares. But seriously, why don't they care?

The repeat post: Live in a building that is horribly mismanaged by Quadrangle. Anyone else have insight/experience dealing with them from the deal side, or living in one of their MF assets? Looking for anecdotal evidence to back up a lot of frustration with current residents.
