Should I include my GPA?
I have a cumulative GPA of 3.39/4.0, which isn't the best but it isn't terrible. However, I did my best during my final year of school and it resulted with a GPA of 3.78/4.0. Should i choose to show my final year GPA over my cumulative GPA? I am also looking a career in Investment Banking/Private Equity.
Don't show final year, that will just lead to to much explaining in interviews. Do you know what you major GPA is. If it is better than a 3.5 I would list your major GPA.
In my opinion, you should show your cumulative one. If you have some space and got good grades in the exams that relate to your future work field, show them.
don't show final year GPA; it's great that you improved, but it's misleading and doesn't mean anything. If your major GPA is higher than your cumulative you might be able to get away with just saying "Major GPA: 3.X / 4.0) but otherwise just show your cumulative. It's not great but people are going to assume it's worse if you leave it off
