J. Crew ludlow vs Jomers vs Hugo Boss Suits
Hello everyone! First post here.
I’m a recent graduate and I’m looking at some decent suit options and have found 3 within my price range.
- J Crew Ludlow with Tollegno worsted wool
- Jomers Hester with Vitale Barberis Canonico wool
3.Hugo Boss Super 100 wool
I’m leaning toward the Jomers because it has a lot of fine details such as functional buttons on the sleeves but I’m not very familiar with the quality of the materials used in these suits so I would like to ask for recommendations on which suit to get and why. J Crew has non functioning buttons I believe and the Hugo Boss one can be made functional.
All of those suits will set you back $500+...rookie mistake. You can get custom tailored suits for $800-$1000 each, so I’d spend the money for the extra quality. Your signing bonus should be enough for two suits, which is all you will need your first couple of years.
Thanks for the insight! I’m actually buying from resellers and private individuals who have passed the return/exchange date on their suits so all options are within the 200 or less range to get the best bang for the buck.
Hugo boss all day the Ludlow stuff is totally not worth the price tag.
