Should I just go to business school right after undergrad?

I am an international student currently waiting for my green card. I don't expect to receive it for at least two more years. Since I have no chance of getting any real job with my current immigration status, should I just go ahead and go to business school? Quick profile: Senior/Non-target/3.7 GPA/Passed CFA Level 1.

It depends on what you are looking for in a business school master's program.
If you want to use it to get a visa and find work opportunity - sure that makes sense. However if you want to get an MBA and boost your career or switch field, it is really your last chance to do so via educational program. So if you are thinking of getting into some more prestigious work fields (bulge bracket investment banks, MBB), I would say don't blow away your last chance right now. Unless you are a spectacular candidate, getting into a top MBA program is difficult right after college. It may make more sense for you to get a M.Fin/Sc orther types of bschool programs to get a job instead.

Thank you so much for the response, I will look into options for Master in Finance now. Might as well get a degree while waiting for my Green Card to arrive. It is quite frustrating being in a place where you have trained night and day to prepare for Finance and can't use your skill because you are not yet a permanent resident. Thanks again for the help.
