Can I make it in Commercial Real Estate in Seattle?

Hi, huge fan of the forum and the wealth of knowledge that is provided on here by you guys. I wanted to seek your advice to see if and how it would be possible for me to break into Commercial Real Estate Sales in Seattle.

I've had some success early in my career with over a decade of experience in auto sales at a new car dealership where I was an online sales rep so I pounded the phone and emails and was consistently top 3 for sales volume (300+ cars a year) for my dealer group of over 150 sales people. I was able to save some of the money I made and invested that into 3 rental properties here in the greater Seattle area. 2 of my homes I rent on Airbnb full time where I am a super host. This would be the start of my passion for real estate. I hope to gain knowledge to own commercial one day as well. (added bonus of getting in)

I would say I have the entrepreneurial spirit. I also started my own wine and beer tour business from the ground up and resell items on eBay as a hobby and an extra source of income. So I have some passive income and cash flow coming in so I can make it for about 6 to 12 months of not making anything and learning and building a pipe line.

I want to parlay my entrepreneurial self, my passion for real estate, and sales experience into a career in commercial real estate with no degree. I wanted interviewed with a small boutique firm here in Seattle as a Tenant Rep. They were transparent with me upfront letting me know that they just hired to new inexperienced brokers fresh out of college and did not have the bandwidth to take on a 3rd. I made it to my 2nd interview and they seemed to take a liking to me and did not say no. They said they wanted to check back in with me in the spring after they got those 2 up to speed. But in the mean time they wanted to see if I could get some experience under my belt.

It seems like a lot of the firms require a degree but I got an interview without one so not sure if that matters as much or would they consider my processional background could compensate for that. I have an upcoming interview with Marcus and Millichap and I know they don't have a good reputation but do you think I should just get my foot in the door here so that when the other firms reaches back out to me I will have "some" experience under my belt.

Or what would you recommend me doing to break into Commercial Real Estate brokerage here in Seattle?

Thanks for your wisdom in advance.
