Plz only UMICH Econ people
Dear WSO, and UMICH people,
I am a rising sophomore, transferring to a target from a non-target state school. My list is NYU Econ (downgraded for the same reason with UMICH), UMICH Econ, Columbia GS, Cornell Econ, and UW-Madison.
I know Ross is terribly competitive to get in especially for a transfer student. So I'm trying to be more realistic and applying for Econ instead of Ross. I am not saying school is all in recruiting. I am a hard worker and I have landed a couple of internships here. I was just worried if UMICH will be rather an obstacle for me as it will label me as an incompetent kid. Can you share any advice regarding this issue?
Plus, which school would be the borderline that will make it okay to go to UMICH Econ? (For example, you can say I am better off going to UMICH Econ if you only have Madison, but if I have Columbia GS, exclude UMICH Econ even if I got accepted)
Thanks..
