Single-family and townhouse Build-to-Rent underwriting
I'm entertaining thoughts of developing Build-to-Rent detached single-family and townhouse on a site that I had originlly slated as developing and selling to a national homebuilder of for-sale product. Tax benefits from its being located in an OZ may also weigh in favor of developing a rental community.
Thoughts on the process of underwriting rental and absorption rates on what may be a novel product are welcome.
