TD Securities US Reputation?
Does anyone know TD Securities reputation in the US? How is there energy office in Houston and will it have any exit opps? Would it be better to go into investment banking at TD or corporate banking at a BB?

No idea about Houston. Had a phone call with one of the VPs over there for an IB gig. It is far more corporate banking than investment banking. It's not like BMO which is trying to muscle its way into MM IB. TD is going for investment grade companies which is entirely too competitive right now to make any headway.
My advice is do CB for Citi, JP, BAML. you'll agent more and better deals, get better flow, and be in a good spot to lateral internally. Name brand will be good too. Idk about Euros, I never see them in the CB world unless its a bridge loan.
JPM corporate banking is called “Corporate Client Banking” and honestly seems like a pretty bad gig depending on what group you’re in. You sometimes double-up as underpaid regional LevFin analysts on certain deals, but otherwise it’s mostly reformatting Rates/FX decks and putting together Treasury Services pitches - if you can get a few deals on your resume though, just put “LevFin” on the resume and you can have decent exit opps. If you want to go into corporate finance, you’ll have a much easier time connecting with clients here than in an IB role though
