13200 data points across multiple MBA programs shows that IB sucks.
Granted, survey likely only looks at MBA grads (so Associates, not Analysts). IB consistently ranks near the bottom as a job function and also industry.
I feel that asking recent MBAs on their job satisfaction only tells part of the story as they are only 1-2 years out. Any comprehensive surveys or studies done to show results for senior employees across different industries?
In Pharma we call it 'real world data'. Ask most IB analysts how IB life is and you'll have all the data you need.
