In process of applying for FT positions, and really confused on the difference between a real estate private equity firm and a real estate investment management firm. are they the same thing? for example, Westbrook Partners calls themselves "a full integrated real estate investment management company" but they are ranked on lists of REPE firms. would really love to hear if there is a difference or not
