Industrials Group (for banks in HK)
I was just wondering what will be the industries that will be under the Industrials Group for banks in HK? Will the aluminium industry be part of the coverage group?

Aluminum like what? Mining? (Rusal, Chalco?)
It's technically under metals and mining
Industrials covers basic materials, transpo (depending on bank), and others of that nature
Yes like Rusal, Alcoa etc..
I am having my next round of interviews and it seems like it's tough to find out what deals the bank are doing / or have done in the past and even more difficult to find out if these interviewer (banker) are from various coverage groups (since a banker in the industrials group might not be involved in Rusal's IPO deal?). Any advice?
Industrials will mostly be manufacturing companies .... what company is this? dont try to guess what delas they did just kno what deals the bank in general did
is this for nomura?
Depends on the banks.
Industrials group will definitely cover Capital Goods, Transportation & Logistics, Industrial Services (Engineering, Waste Mgmt etc.) and Conglomerate. It coule also cover some or all of these following subsectors: Metals & Minings (Basic Materials), Chemicals, Paper & Packaging, Aerospace & Defense, Business Services, Education Services etc.
it is for Nomura and UBS..
