Wow, everyone is such a disciplined well-behaved monkey. Looks like around 70% plan to save/invest more than half their bonus. I'll tell the Porsche dealer they can close up early this year - nothing to do until January.
Not to hurt anyone's feelings, but you ask the general public what they would do if they won the lottery, they would respond similarly.
The actual record of lottery winner spending is somewhat different.
Of course, of course, bankers are much, much smarter - back to the hurt feelings - I'm not discouraging anyone from their investing aspirations, I'm just a bit skeptical.
Those of you who can stick to your responses, hats off to you.
exactly....not only is it true that most of these poll respondents haven't gotten their 1st yr bonus yet, but many are probably still in their junior year.
Right, I forgot about that. As of this post, there were 388 respondents. I can't believe there are 388 actual bonus-earning bankers responding.
i saved 100% last year and plan to do that same this year - i don't think its that hard to live off your cash flow; i mean the salaries analysts make are greater then basically every other non-bonus paying job that one can get out of school and those kids do just fine
Used to pay down student loans. Now, pay down the mortgage.
we need a poll on what percentage of monkies have iPhones
