PE Associate Compensation in T3 cities?
Hi all - curious if anyone has insight on what PE associate comp looks like (more detail the better) in "T3" cities (e.g., Denver, Austin, Atlanta, etc.)? Much appreciated!

REPE/Developer Market Compensation (2-3 YoE)
How often do Acquisitions/ AM /Developer Analyst/Associate jobs clear over 200K all-in with 2-3 years of experience? What kind of shops will allow for this compensation while keeping your hours to a maximum of 60/week? Generally asking about the NYC metro area given that it's one of the highest paid...
How do you answer "What pay range do you expect?"
I am very motivated to move out of my current job, but obviously don't want to signal desperation. Should I try to be more quantitative (for example say in the mid-$100ks) or qualitative (I am looking for strong career progression) when HR or recruiters ask me about pay expectations?
Is this post-MBA offer term considered "market"?
Recently received a Post-MBA associate offer from a well known boutique shop that included a term differing any compensation review until the end of my second year, i.e. my base with hold steady for two years. My understanding is that associates receive base pay bumps year after year. Has this term...
Associate comp at 1st fund
Interviewing in a few weeks at a PE fund and could use some help on what to expect in terms of comp. It is the firm's first fund so that adds some risk to the position. Got promotion to Senior Associate at a growth equity firm - should I stay or leave?
Recently got the promotion to Sr. Associate (at my 2-year mark) at tech-focused growth equity shop with less than 5 investment team members, and we are about to start raising a new ~$125mm fund (meaningfully larger than our first fund). The raise they gave me was only modest as we are capital...
Citigroup still not raising Associate salaries
So almost all the major bulge brackets have raised IBD Associate pay to $150k for first years (from $125k). The only major ones who haven't in the US are Wells Fargo, Deutsche Bank, and Citigroup. Given the fines and toxic culture at WF and DB , I understand why they can't afford to make the move....
Raising a significantly larger fund - reasonable to ask for a raise once closed?
Hi all - first time poster here. I currently am a 2nd year associate at a small tech-focused growth equity shop with 4 people and we are in process raising a fund (~$125-150mm) which is significantly larger than our previous ones. Do you think it is reasonable / acceptable to ask for a raise in...

Current MM IBD Associate Compensation
Anyone know what typical post-mba associate compensation progression(base + bonus) is for MM firms(Lincoln, Blair, Baird) in Chicago? Have a good sense for BB and Elite Boutique associate comp, but haven't had luck obtaining MM figures.
PwC Promotion/ Comp Structure
I'm a undergraduate student starting at PwC in a year. I recently accepted a position in MC for 70k + 5k signing (I also had a TC offer for 70k + 10k signing that I gave up because I liked the MC group better). Been trying to understand how promotion/ compensation works at PwC . How long does it...
Which Rotation Should I Start In: Fixed Income or Equity
Hello all!
2015 MM Associate Salary Increase
Does anyone have the new associate salary levels for MM banks? It sounds like the BBs went from 100/120/140/160 up to $140-150k for A1 (that might even be A0?). I believe current MM salary is 100/110/120/130, but not sure what they are moving up to.
Associate Comp Market?
I'm thinking about potentially joining BlackRock in NY and would like to know if my offer is market comp. Would appreciate it if anyone has any insight. Does anyone know what experienced associates should expect to receive in terms of base and bonus. I imagine bonus varies by group, but base should...
