Hey guys, I'm a Canadian in HS and I'm hoping to go into Management Consulting after undergrad. I don't know if this is the usual but I'm planning to stay on rather than leave for exit opps (I don't know if this is the usual in Canada). Anyways, I was looking for some insight on the best schools, top firms as well as lifestyle/comp and such. Just to make it easier I'll number my questions 1: Which 2-3 schools should I aim for to have the best chances of getting into MC? I've heard of Ivey, Queens, Schulich, Mcgill and Rotman though not sure which ones I should apply for. I'm currently leaning

Hi guys, I am facing an important decision for my career and I like to share it with you. Background: • Italian Management Consultant, I've been working for almost 3 years now for Second Tier Consulting firm (Top 4/5 in Europe according to most rankings , way below in US) • Planning to apply to MBA (2nd round, starting date August 2017), targeting HBS/Wharton/Columbia in USA or LBS/Insead in Europe • My firm is willing to finance (partly) my MBA but this will theoretically imply a lock-in period of 2 years • Short / medium-term career goal: switch to PE I know that it will sound pretty

I'm a TA at a finance department, and my university has given a scholarship to study both Master's degree and Ph.D. in finance. I'm a fresh graduate with bachelor's degree in finance, no work experience. I can go purely academic, or I can take advanage of my university's system, which allowes their professors to work as a consultant as a private business. Therefore, my question is if I want to work as a management consultant, which area in finance that I should spelize in in order to have a good background in future. I still have a long path to walk through, I'm just seeking for an advice to
