Recently received an offer from a Bulge Bracket/Elite Boutique Investment Bank and a first-round interview at MBB. I am sure the MBB is the better choice. I think it will be better to tell them but should I/how do I mention that I got a BB/EB offer? I believe the pro for telling them is that it will differentiate me from the pack and they will know I am a strong candidate and are more likely to give me a Final Round even if I am not amazing in my case interview. The con is that they will question my story, how much I want consulting. How do I navigate this part of my story correctly?

Hey everyone, been a long time reader of the WSO forums but posting for the first time. Hi all, I'm a current senior at a top-tier university (HYPS) who recently received an offer at TFA for post-graduation. In the past, I worked a summer analyst role at a large PE firm ($45B AUM) and an associate consultant role at a well-known non-profit. Similar to others who have posted on this subject before, I believe I would learn a lot from the experience but am concerned about my ability to transition out of TFA and back into the private sector. I've been told by many advisors at TFA that moving back into business is a plausible option, but the stats tell me otherwise. According to TFA

Hi all, I was wondering how many of you made the move from investment banking to non-finance sector. Why did you make such moves and do you enjoy the work you are doing now? What I am talking about could be both direct moves or career transition after getting a master or mba after banking. I am interested in policy-related work, so I am thinking about joining policy consulting firms, NGOs, think tanks, or international organizations such as the IMF and World Bank. I understand it may be hard to make this transition if you only have an undergrad degree. So I am considering getting an MBA or MPP

Hi guys! I'm currently working with BCG's Knowledge and Analytics team in the Private Equity practice area. I wanted to know more about the possible routes to move to front end consulting or investment banking. If I work and then go for my MBA to a top B school outside my home country (I'm currently in India), is it possible to be placed in front end MBB or IB? I'm also a CFA level 1 candidate. My target schools are Oxford, cambridge, LBS and NUS.
