Loyalty of WUSTL Alumni?
After recently being admitted to WUSTL's MSF (which I didn't think I had a shot at due to below-average stats) I'm reconsidering my original intention to attend Nova's MSF . I like the Midwest much more than NYC /Philly and the name brand of WashU is hard to pass up. The way I look at it, you're a...
stats master in UChicago VS wustl msf q track for quant roles
I am a stats undergrad from Hong Kong, and I recently got admitted to University of Chicago stats master and WUSTL msf q track. I am leaning towards quant related jobs, but I read some threads on this forum that a master in stats is far from enough for working in a hedge fund. I asked Greg at WUSTL...
Is WUSTL a target school by top I-banks?
Hi everyone. I am a junior currently thinking of transferring to the engineering college of WUSTL from a midwest liberal arts school that no bank targets. Downside is I would have to stay in undergrad for one more year. I am just curious if WUSTL is a target school by top I-banks. If yes, does it...

So I've been admitted to Wustl MBA and MSF and Vandy MSF programs and I wanted to get some input from the community. I don't have much experience, just summer analyst experience. My goal is to get into strategy consulting and am unsure which program would be the best option for me at the present...
WUSTL vs. Vanderbilt MSF
Does anyone have any thoughts as to which program is better? They have similar admission statistics (Vanderbilt higher GPA, WUSTL higher GMAT) and similar placement stats. They have similar costs and place in similar areas. I have been admitted to both and need to make my decision in the next few...

MSF: CMC v. WUSTL
I’m trying to decide which institution I should attend. Of course the easy answer is that if I want to work on the West Coast, I should go to Claremont McKenna College, and if I want to work in Chicago or the Midwest, I should go to Washington University in St. Louis. But let’s say that I have...

WUSTL MSF Changes
WUSTL is creating a separate quant masters and making their current MSF more of a pure MSF. This is awesome IMO since it will allow people to focus on the areas they want the most. I am going to try and reach out to the head of the program. Maybe get some color on this....
