Citi Tech, DB Healthcare & JPM TMT
Looking for views on these groups, in terms of
- stability of team
- any rockstar bankers ?
- your views on whether this is a good team to start off as an associate.
I am experienced associate without US experience. Thanks in advance.
I'd avoid DB. Their HC group isn't particularly a strong group. Their IBD operations within the US were also reduced so not sure about long-term stability.
I'd say either Citi or JP would be fine. Curious to see how the 13B deal impacts JP though.
Not sure about the HC group specifically, but the U.S. IB long-term is generally growing, not shrinking given how young it is.
I think they got rid of their power and utilities team. I could be wrong. Regardless, as has been expressed by others, JP TMT would be a good choice for OP.
DB in general is doing quite well. HC had a great last year, but overall, its not the best performing group on the street.
Would go with JP TMT
I'd second that. Either Citi or JPM
Citi Tech is shit. Go with JPM.
Citi tech is is shit coz bad culture or less deal flow or both ?
Don't know anything about the culture. Their dealflow is terrible though.
JP TMT and don't look back.
JPM TMT seems like a strong group with many of the deals going thru them (especially in Telecom). But you really seem to be in DB for whatever reason.
