It sounds like you're thinking about sending them the CIM without asking - is that correct? That would be about the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Banks run these deals as a structured process. If you're on a live deal that is at the point where they are putting a buyer list together, you could suggest adding your contact to the list - it would probably just be funny to them, but I doubt it would hurt you.
