Barclays TMT - Tech Group - NYC (thoughts)

Hello fellow Monkeys,

I hope everyone is doing well in these crazy times. In light of the Barclays FSG thread, I would love to hear thoughts (culture/exit opps/hours) for the Barclays TMT group in NY. I realize there is an old thread regarding the group, but it seems a lot has changed since and would love to hear about the new changes (good or bad). Specifically the Tech Group.

Growthpoint Tech and FT Partners are pretty good. Closed some great deals recently. Check it ouand stay plugged in.

Dude, you need to stop talking about Growthpoint Tech so much. It's getting annoying.

Will update my computer soon and leave Incognito so I will disappear forever. How did I achieve Neanderthal by trolling? Some people are after me so need to close account for safety.

perhaps not strictly speaking “underrated” but I interviewed for a lateral analyst role with JPM’s M&C team last year and they are extremely strong. They’ve worked on huge deals like Disney fox and T-Mobile sprint, culture also seems very relaxed

All the BBs have good TMT groups. Barclays TMT group doesn't stand out and is probably in the lower half of BBs. Most EBs have good TMT groups as well, along with TMT boutiques (Qatalyst for tech, Liontree, Allen and Raine (entertainment, which is classified as "media")

Strong dealflow, probably middle of the pack when it comes to BB but beats out DB/UBS etc
