Like a week after I got the first round. After first round, I got my superday within a few days. Super-day was pretty simple - technical heavy but my finance courses from school were enough to get me past those. A lot of emphasis on culture fit and why UBS.

Just got an offer too, wow that was fast. Non-diversity, non-target but we do consistently send a certain number to UBS. Does anyone want to start a groupme for incoming interns?

So do diversity ones, the application for sophomores is different lol. Or you're international which they usually auto deny.

You got rejected bc youre a soph not bc youre non-diversity. Non-diversity can apply to the specific sophomore program and won't be autorejected there either.

UBS has the most sophomore IB interns out of any BB, generally 25-30 and offers tend to be relatively easy to get, won't be any technicals so just have a good "why UBS"

Got superday as well, thought they were waiting until fall?

i got a link that was sent to me by a mentor in my network. i did the hirevue and assessment to get into the diversity program.the process is rolling and they offer very quickly esp for the people they either really like or come from their target schools

thanks! if i release the name of my school, it'll automatically give my identity away so i apologize - think of a big public school with a decent business program in the deep midwest. the tips i have for you wouldn't really apply for the superday but for the hirevue focus on the little things since they can actually see you - good lighting, strong speech (but not too strong), iron your shirt, show passion (by having multiple concrete yet concise answers and examples on hand - they want to see how you arrived at that opinion), preparedness, good command of the space even though it's a screen, acceptable background, don't be nervous, and (my favorite tip) SMILE AND HAVE FUN!! there are many threads with hirevue questions for situations like this, esp sophomore SA gigs.

rising junior? I thought in your previous thread you mentioned rising soph? I'm only inquiring about this difference to see if both sophomore and junior SA are on both rolling this early

So do the assessments actually affect your application status or not? On the email it sounded like they were in the testing phase so they weren't going to matter.

I hope they don't matter. I bombed the hell out of the numerical one - timed tests always screw me over lol

Cant find link to S&T application or did it not come out yet? please help

Did anyone hear anything yet who applied in the last month or so??

Seems like things might start this week according to people on here

Funniest

Wait... UBS delivers packages AND does investment banking???

I was a part of their diversity program, so I really don't know. Seems like IB is the only one open right now

This might be a bit early, but has anyone gotten any info about group placement or when that is happening? I’m completely oblivious lmao

How far is NYC IB through the recruiting process? From the comments above it feels like diversity is done, and regular hasn't gone into full motion yet. Does anyone have any insight on this?

Any insights into what to look for when giving the UBS Sonru Interview for IB? Behavioral v Technical balance

Did you get one? I've heard that you only get 1 try and can't re-record responses.

Almost all behavioral if I remember correctly (at least for when I did the diversity)

Have a referral and haven't received one yet so I hope they haven't been sent out

How far along the process is UBS with filling up 2021 class S&T or IBD?? roughly

Was probably a type and meant to ask if graduating Dec 2021-Jun 22 so they probably wanted a yes to that question

Resubmit under a different email, and change answer to that one question

I have no idea, there's been a lot of conflicting information on here. Some people say they are almost done, others say they haven't started. Kind of annoying that people lie, but it's expected on an anonymous forum of kids gunning for the same jobs.

Invited to superday at end of Aug. Anyone know the structure and if it's more fit based or technical focused?

How long did it take for people to hear back after superday?
