Centerview SA 2021

Haven't seen any posts about Centerview yet but seems like first-round phone screen are kicking off in the next week or so, if anyone has additional info on timeline that would be great thanks.

It's definitely this early. Source: Have already done a first round at a target.

Wow, looks like waiting off till September last year didn't payoff so well for them eh! Starting to see this trend now with a few places doing a reversal of their late recruiting timeline last year. MS, Moelis, Gugg, bit harder to tell for sure though because of the virus complicating things further. Will be interesting to follow.

Just had an info session with them recently. They said that they would be starting recruiting for NY at the end of summer.

Not HYP, but a lower top-tier/tier 1b, however the phrasing goes.

CVP doesnt do anything for specifically diversity, obviously there are some diverse analysts they hire though

Also have a friend at H who did this. Anyone have any idea how many SA spots they have? last I heard was around 20, not sure if that #'s increased since

noticed this as well, maybe they had exploding offers and centerview accelerated?

I go to a target for Centerview - should I be submitting an application online or wait until they post on my career center?

Was told August was when to reach out again after I reached out a month ago

When you all reached out to people, was it people you guys had some connection to like alumni or would cold emailing be fine if my school isn't that represented?

If they don't recruit on-campus for my school (non-target), do I just apply on website?

is this for SF/PA diversity that happened in May? Do you know how many they hired? I thought they only did diversity recruiting in SF/PA for the West Coast schools, I go to Berkeley and it was advertised here.

I did. Should we expect to hear by firm by any mean? It didn't seem related to recruiting process to be honest.

Any insight on London? I know that there's a form on the main website, but do individual targets (i.e. Oxford, Cambridge) usually get their own sign-ups too like for NY, and if so, in what kind of timeframe?

Was just told that first rounds should come out in the next 2-3 weeks and then superday at the end of Sept

Is this specifically for your school, or is it across the board. Didn't know banks had separate processes for different schools lol

ah ok, doesn't say that on my school's handshake posting - guess it must be like that for you.

When did Penn's apps close? I go to a state target school, and our apps closed around Midnight on Monday.

Have you guys heard anything yet? I applied yesterday right before the deadline lol and under my "Applications" section I have one for "interview: Centerview" where it says "Reviewed"... so like lol did I already get dinged

Our school's apps were due on Monday, and they reviewed my App yesterday on Handshake. I think they are doing it by school.

Bump. Also wondering what the timeline looks like for PA

When they say the program is generalist, does that mean that you do both Rx and m&a?

I think staffing is based on your preference. You can do both Rx and M&A if you want to, but since Rx is pretty Niche and the focus is M&A, you're pretty much guaranteed to do M&A. The shop in broad terms is generalist and there aren't any industry specific teams - more like partners focused on specific industries. Your industry preference influences your staffing. fucking annihilated it. will say technically there is no way in hell you can prepare

NYC, people recruited us 2 weeks back through one of the clubs as well (I guess that's OCR)  but I haven't heard of anyone getting a first yet so I don't know what their process is honestly for us. Maybe straight superday? think some people mentioned on here that some schools get straight superday but don't know why we would ever have a straight over some other targets - Ping here if you here hear anything
