I applied a week ago about and got a phone screen a few days after I submitted. Interviewer said I probably will hear back early this week. Felt the interview went well so wondering if they just delayed it.

I still haven't heard back from my first phone interview a couple weeks ago

Had an initial phone screen with an associate a few weeks ago. Wasn’t asked anything challenging, pretty much all behavioral. Was told to expect to hear back late August/early September and that their process was gonna be delayed this year. From what I heard it’s usually only 2-3 rounds and then Superday

Following this. Can confirm after initial phone screen there are 2 interviews followed by superday. Anybody have an idea of how many spots there are in NY?

Have heard very few compared to others considering this is one of their smaller offices. A friend of mine works there and was told firsthand that despite people wanting to go there just because it’s NY, much less dealflow and experience with more interesting projects as compared to Dallas/Atlanta/Little Rock.

Are you talking about FT? I can confirm that there are 5 calls before the superday... so not sure why our interviewer were saying different things. Where are you in the process?

I’ve spoken to 2 people, with one being a connection at the firm. That may factor into it, but honestly not completely sure. Have spoken with others in the past and have heard of varying interview processes.

Yeah each office does it differently. 2 analysts at NY has said I can expect multiple more steps and superday in late September.

They usually have all their offices Superday at the Little Rock, AR office, and then list office preference. You essentially have to be green-lighted for an offer and then hope the offices you listed are equally interested in you. Also no point in applying if you aren't a white male from the south/frat. They exclusively hire from that demographic.

Had a first round phone screen with a VP, was told that the superday would be September 18 (usually in Little Rock, but corona times obviously makes this year a little different). He also mentioned there are 15-20 FT spots they’re looking to fill, but unclear if that’s across the firm or just in their larger offices

Hey guys, how hard is the official first round? How many technicals?

It was decent. Mostly technicals, but it felt like they were trying to get to know me. This was last week.

Only had 1 virtual interview w/associate. Said super day offers would go out this week, have yet to hear anything.

Any updates on the ATL office? Had a virtual first round with them last week but haven't heard anything back yet.

Still waiting to hear back about superday as well. Anybody know if superday is on the phone or is it through zoom/Skype?

Are NY superdays out? Also, how many superdays are they having?

Not sure about NY. Heard every office has a seperate process, but I think the superdays for all of them line up. ATL went out yesterday/today.
