Phone screen + junior interviews + ~10 round superday + modeling test.

Starts off with standard 30 mins technical / behavioral interviews with more junior folks. Really straight forward technicals - LFCF build, Valuation, SLB, some easy mental math, brain teasers etc. If you’re worried about technicals you should probably be considering other (MM) shops...

In later rounds with more seniors (3rd year Principal +), it progresses to more deal experience and behavioral / fit questions. Walk me through your deals... why did you assume that for NWC... return attribution ... are you hungry enough to work here or will you burn out etc.

In a separate round, they do a “modeling test.” But it’s more of a case study where you should be sure to understand Apollo’s value oriented approach to investing. These guys are really differentiated on the street and sharp as hell so be sure to stay disciplined here.

Sale Lease Back math. This was meant to be illustrative but basically should understand how to buy down multiples pro forma for M&A, selling shit off, SLB, etc
