Bain Capital Credit?

Hey everyone, I have an interview for SA at Bain Capital Credit coming up (US offices) and was wondering whether anyone had any insight on what to expect for the interviews. I know they're "case study interviews" focused on investing but would appreciate any help.

They're just like consulting case studies, except with an investment lens. The best way to practice would be to focus on PE/M&A cases in case books. 2 Things will help in standing out from the crowd

1) Knowing how to case - most people who go through the process come in expecting finance/technical questions but they don't really test for that. I'd say people preparing for consulting are better off.

2) Knowing what makes a strong credit investment (e.g. Defensibility, diversification, recession resilience, etc.). Prepare for questions like "Why is this a good credit vs. equity" and "What part of the capital structure would you want to invest in".

Can you elaborate on "why is this a good credit vs. equity" investment? Is it just based on you investment objectives/risk profile?

anyone know why it's taking so long to hear back? could all offers be out?
