Missed Bain Resume Deadline... Any advice?

I'm an idiot. I marked the Bain resume drop for my campus on my calendar as Oct. 31st, not Oct. 21st. I know one person there, but he's a first year and it's not really a strong enough connection to ask him to intervene on my behalf. I emailed the recruiting team to apologize and ask if they would still consider my application, but I haven't heard back (emailed them last night, no response today). Any thoughts/advice? Or am I now recruiting with MB and not MBB?

^ Nice call, turtles. I kind of shamelessly asked this guy I barely know to put in a good word with HR and he emailed this morning saying that my application will be considered!

Honestly, I tell candidates that all the time, even when it isn't true.

i'm not exactly sure what to say in my letter but instead of coming up with some bs excuse, i was thinking about just being honest and stating that i just simply missed the deadline

at least now you're a "Senior Chimp"

honestly I would just go over to the people at career services and say that you've been planning on applying to these banks and were hoping they could submit your resume along with all of the others if it is not too late -- you missed the deadline but you would really appreciate an opportunity (like the rest of the student body)for a shot at an interview....blablabla

I would say that you are screwed. None of these banks will make an exception when they already have 200 kids who submitted their resumes before the deadline.
