In the current tax environment, how do investors treat profit repatriation?
I was just reading Ford's positive domestic sales but slumps abroad in India
Generally speaking though, how do investors treat profits that companies would like to repatriate but can't due to taxation policies?
Do they not include it in their valuations? Do they include it in valuations at current rates? If the latter, then what happens if the regime never changes and they opt to just keep those funds abroad for investment purposes?
If this is unclear, let me know
