Depends on deal flow
As its been posted here many, many times before... there is no standard comp/hours structure among firms or even among teams. I've even seen cases where two analysts sit in the same bullpen working for the same company but supporting two different brokers and have completely different comp structures, total comp and hours.
That said, I think its reasonable for an entry level analyst to expect 50-65k base and 0-10k bonus/commission and a more senior (3-5 years exp) analyst to be anywhere from like 65-100k base and 20-100k bonus/commission (huge variance I know... really depends on how generous the broker is and the teams production...). Hours could be 40-60/week depending on pipeline and team culture (NYC office more likely to grind their analysts).
Most common exit opps are 1) becoming a broker or 2) going to work for a client (REIT, REPE, developer, etc).
Once again, the inability/laziness to use the search function on here is mind boggling.
thanks dad
