Georgetown McDonough vs. Cornell Dyson?

Hey everyone, so I was accepted into both UVA and Cornell Dyson, and committed to Dyson about a month ago. Very recently, I received news that I was accepted into Georgetown McDonough off the waitlist, and I'd like to know how it compares to Dyson, in terms of prestige, recruiting for BBs and MBB consulting, and social life/fun. I haven't visited either school, so if anyone would like to fill me in on what campus life is like that would be much appreciated. I'm leaning towards Cornell because I already have a roommate and stuff like that figured out, but if Georgetown has a better student life or better job prospects, please let me know.

Thanks!

I don't know how anyone could possibly enjoy living in Ithaca. I'd sooner attend a non-target than go to Cornell...

Ahahah... dude please don't choose your college based on the super small differences in IB recruiting between the schools you've gotten into. Really sad...

Ithaca is a pretty nice town in upstate New York. And Cornell's campus is beatiful; tons of great hiking around, and skiing in the winter. No major city is close, and it isn't easy in any way to get to NYC. Cornell is a lot of fun, I've heard.

Georgetown is in a beautiful and historic DC neighborhood, bordering the Potomac. Great streets and paths for running. Great restaurants. If you have a lot of disposable money, you'll probably be more comfortable at Gtown than if not, given that everything you might be into off campus is expensive. It's quite pre-professional/strivy (not to say Cornell isn't), and social life revolves around selective clubs....

These are the differences that should matter.

Second this. The difference in recruiting is negligible. But the atmosphere of each college is incredibly different. That's what you need to base your decision on

I am a senior at Georgetown in the MSB - DC is so much fun, especially after turning 21! From what I know about Cornell from a bunch of friends who go there, the social scenes are pretty different, but IB job prospects are very similar (ie both targets for BBs etc) feel free to PM me with any questions/I can tell you more about campus life in detail.
