Energy trader to Energy PE?

Currently an energy trader who got curious about the Energy PE folks.

1) How is energy PE comp?

2) How is the work/life balance? I hated IB hours but liked trading hours

3) Do Energy PE firms have internal trading desks that trade products?

4) How would an energy trader transition to energy PE?

Thanks

Paper trader? If physical + some ib background I’ve seen it done + asset exposure, I’ve seen some make the transition. Don’t know anyone on paper side making the switch, imagine it’s harder.
