Accessing marketing research on CB insights??

Hi I just joined a new firm a few weeks ago as an intern. As part of my first several tasks, I was asked to do market research around a behavioral health company using CB insights.

Since then, the analyst covering behavioral health has departed from our group due to mental health issues, and now I’m unable to log into the research account that belonged to the analyst so I’m unsure how to complete my research. I’m also unsure if I need to do because he was the only one that covered this sector.

Unsure what this means. Did they shut down the analyst’s access to this research account after the announcement of his departure, or would it be possible that he still somehow has access for some time but just changed his password? I’m unsure if the analyst still has his computer but this is somewhat confusing

Should I say something to my VP about this?

Wouldn’t people who are no longer employed with a company be removed from accessing company accounts and platforms used by the company?
