Tell my boy he is wrong about this $MTCH (the dating apps) winter stock thesis

My boy and I keep going at each other about our view of the stock Match, the dating apps ($MTCH), and its future performance over the next 6 months and I feel like I can't be more right here.

Im saying that as the winter approaches with a) more young people ages 22-30 heading back to the big cities (JPM forcing everyone back to NYC, more probably will follow) and b) all the bars and outdoor dining will be close bc of COVID, every normal single person who is craving some sort of flirting banter is gonna rush to Hinge. I left NYC a couple years ago, but when I was there, one out of every 3 girl friends I knew had hinge while like 1 out of every 15 guy friends didn't. This time around the single people who still want to get laid every weekend are all gonna have to download these apps because how else are you going to meet other random single people with everything closed??

So with that I am saying go long on $MTCH heading into the winter where the user growth numbers are only going to explode more than they already have.

My boy though is saying that its all way over blown and there wont be the rush to the dating apps because the "single people will figure it out". I see the apps as the most convenient way of doing it.

Whose side would you choose here?
