improving resume for ft recruiting

hi, current third year at a west coast target/ east coast semi-target who is doing sa at a west coast eb. i am very interested in ft recruiting for east coast positions.

I feel like I should improve my resume, but I don't know how. I had a solid ER internship last summer, but haven't had any professional experience since then. Also, for leadership experience, I'm not in any clubs (other than an honor society for my other major), so all I have is a nonprofit I started in high school and continued until the end of my sophomore year as well as a volunteering program I stopped early 2023. My GPA is solid, but I feel like I should improve my experiences, especially on the extracurricular side given that it's been a long time since I've done something. I applied to campus research, but struck out. Any suggestions?

At the end of the day for FT recruiting they are mostly going to care about your internship / whether you got an offer, and then your school and GPA.

Tough time of year to jon clubs but if you can join a one or two that's a legitimate interest of yours, do so. Less about padding the resume and mostly just so you don't blank when someone asks "so what do you do back on campus" but I would not worry about adding tons more finance to your resume. Getting an offer and networking once your internship starts are the two most important things

yeah it's too late to join clubs. i reapplied to the volunteering thing i did freshman year, but yeah hopefully i get a return offer and do well this summer. thanks
