Insurance companies (books/papers/etc.)
Any good books/papers/sources to really get an in-depth understanding of the insurance industry (operations/business/etc.)?
Recommend everything you can think of, I'll check it.
I even remember that Buffett had some unique opinions about investing in insurance companies (if someone can refer to where he discusses insurance companies in his annual reports).
Thanks
BIWS has a modeling course
WSP has a financial statements course
Most sources that cover the industry like Dowling are a bit cost prohibitive but FT has great coverage on insurance companies
