Internal Transfer from London to HK

Hi guys,

I am about to join a Top BB Asset Management Division as full time analyst in London. Front Office role.

Given personal issue, I would like to relocate to HK after one/two years. My division has a small team in HK, but more generalist focus, whereas in London I am assigned to one quite niche sector.

Wondering whether the relocation is possible, given the fact that my knowledge is not that transferreable and the team in HK is really small.

If it's possible, when should I say that? Should I chat with seniors in HK first or speak to seniors of my London team first?

need some advice thanks
