question about putting fund size on resume
Lets say you interned at a PE firm that had 2 funds. Fund 1 had 300mm in AUM and the second/current fund had 700mm in AUM. On my resume do I put 700mm or the total amount managed by the firm of $1 billion? Just curious as to what is the norm. Thanks.
I can't give you an answer, but I'd guess it could make sense to include both numbers. Anyhow I was wondering if it is more common to refer to AUM or the amount of equity (commitments) a pe firm (a fund respectively) can access when talking about size? Obviously to get a better image it would make sense to look at both I think.
