Should I do Investment Management or Private Equity internship ( first time)?
Hi , I'm a junior at Georgia Tech studying finance. Im planning on getting a internship at a local company near me but I'm having difficulty weighing between a local investment management firm and small relatively unknown private equity. Both of them push the idea that I'll have hands on experience due to fact they're both small, but I don't know which field in finance would be better to start in. Any advice on what I should do?
Private Equity. You can use that to get into investment management but you can’t use investment management to get into private equity (you’ll need a lot more)
