S&T pay Chicago vs. NYC

I’m just wondering what the pay differential is between Chicago and New York? The cost of living in Chicago is about 50% of New York and that just seems so much more attractive to me. I wasn’t able to find any answer on google that was clear so just figured I’d ask here to see if anyone knows. Thanks!
